Galette des Rois
La Galette des Rois is a French celebration cake share for Epiphany on the 6th of January that you can generally find in every boulangerie in France during nearly the whole month.
Meaning the Cake of the Kings it commemorates Twelfth Night when the Three Kings arrived in Bethlem bearing gifts for baby Jesus.
Composed of a puff pastry cake filled with frangipane - a cream made from sweet almonds - butter, eggs and sugar.

* 48 hours notice is required to produce the galette des rois
* The Galette can be kept for 24hours after pick-up, we recommend to keep it at room temperature and re-heat in the oven for 5mn at 150° before degustation.
